What is ionBible?
ionBible is a King James Version (KJV) study Bible for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It includes the full KJV text, Strong's Concordance, original Greek and Hebrew lexicons, commentaries, red-letter words of Christ, audio narration, reading plans, and study tools.
Do audio and commentaries work offline?
They work differently. Audio narration is streamed from our servers, so it always requires an internet connection to play. Commentaries and chapter headers are downloaded once when you first open them; after that, they're stored on your device and available offline.
I purchased a feature but don't see it. How do I restore it?
Open the app, go to the purchase or settings screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Restores use the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still doesn't appear, email info@ionul.com with your purchase date and we'll sort it out.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the purchase.
The app is crashing or content won't load. What should I do?
First, confirm you're on the latest version from the App Store and that you have an internet connection. Try fully closing and reopening the app, then restarting your device. If the problem continues, email info@ionul.com with your device model, OS version, and a short description of what happened.
Does ionBible work offline?
Mostly. The core KJV text and study tools work offline. Commentaries and chapter headers download once and then work offline. Audio narration always requires an internet connection, since it's streamed rather than stored on your device.
